What to Expect

The treatment begins with thorough cleansing and prepping of the skin. A Procell device is used to create microchannels while applying potent serums. The treatment may feel slightly prickly but is well tolerated.

You may look pink for a few hours after therapy.

Pre & Post Care

  • No exfoliation, retinol, or harsh actives 72 hours before and after

  • Avoid makeup for 24–48 hours

  • No touching skin after procedure for 90 minutes

  • Use a gentle cleanser, hyaluronic acid, and SPF post-care

  • Stay hydrated and avoid sun exposure

FAQs

  • Procell uses a stamping method and is gentler, with less downtime and enhanced serum delivery.

  • The number of treatments range greatly depending on what you are treating and the severity. For light anti-aging treatments, 2-3 treatments may be sufficient. For deep wrinkles and acne scarring, 4-6 treatments may be required to achieve desired results. There are no limit to the number of treatments that one can receive as long as adequate time passes in between each treatment.

  • Not for the first 24–48 hours to allow skin to recover fully.

  • 4-6 weeks in between treatments to let the healing cascade complete.

  • Microchanneling improves the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, acne scarring, (non raised) keloid scarring, stretch marks, hair loss and rosacea.

  • Wait a minimum of 90 minutes before applying anything to the skin including sunscreen, makeup, moisturizer, anything apart from the remainder of the vial of microneedling solution. Leave 2-3 days before resuming the use of irritating or inflammatory skin products. Visible skin irritation is often gone after as little as two hours.
