CLIENT RESULTS
-
Not necessarily. Some clients may experience light flaking or peeling in the days following treatment, while others may have little to no visible peeling. Visible peeling is not required for a treatment to be beneficial.
-
Downtime varies depending on the type and strength of peel used and your individual skin response. You may experience temporary redness, dryness, tightness, sensitivity, or flaking following treatment.
-
Yes. Daily broad-spectrum SPF is especially important following professional exfoliation. Limiting unnecessary sun exposure and protecting your skin are important parts of your post-peel care.
-
Depending on the peel selected, professional exfoliation may help improve the appearance of uneven tone, hyperpigmentation, post-acne marks, congestion, dullness, rough texture, fine lines, and overall skin clarity.
-
Your skin will be assessed before treatment. Not every client or skin condition is appropriate for a chemical peel at every visit. If your skin barrier needs additional support first, we may recommend preparing and strengthening your skin before beginning the series.
-
Your appointment begins with an assessment of your skin to determine the appropriate peel for your current needs and goals. Your skin will be cleansed and prepared before the professional exfoliation is applied. You may experience warmth, tingling, or mild sensitivity during treatment depending on the peel selected.
